Which header would be better for a SC engine, a 4-2-1 one piece or a 4-1 header? I've heard that a 4-2-1 is better, but I want to hear other opinions or see other members HP numbers.

4-2-1 better for relatively stock setup (6-8psi with VTEC intact).
Kamikaze 4-1 or Hi-Tech 4-1 better for non-vtec high boost applications.

It depends on the model. I think the 4 headers of choice are the DC 4-2-1, Kamakazi, Hi-Tech (Expensive), or the JDM Type R 4-1.
Short larger primaries are important.

I speak from experince.
Avoid the DC Sports 4-1 header on a blown application like the plauge. You will be underwhelmed at the low-end performance of it. I'm about to swap back to the stock manifold.

FoxRocket,
Do you have dyno results on this or is this just how it feels? I picked one up for the use of the higher rpm horsepower thinking low end is not needed with the charger as much.

I have dyno results from the DC 4-1. I gained 8 H.P. and 2 Torque. Check it out at the Integra Dyno Center.
I say try extrude honing the stock manifold.

True, I don't have a dyno plot of the performance I am getting from the 4-1. In every day driving the car didn't take hills nearly as well as it used to when I had the stock manifold installed. On the 73 south to San Diego is where I became disappointed with the 4-1, higher revs to go 70 up the hill with the 4-1 than with the stock manifold. (I drive that route about every other day)
SSBP, where on your dyno graph are those 8hp and 2lb/ft at? Is an across the board improvement? I ask this because I can only really feel a difference between the stock manfold and the 4-1 above 5000RPM. My earlier post was a bit if an over-reaction.
FastFour...It would depend on what you want from you car. If you're into dragging then the 4-1 is probably a good bet. If you like AutoX/Street performance I don't think the 4-1 is such a good choice.
